Make and Take Cooking Classes
$18 for public / $9 for market members / $5 for neighbors
Our cooking classes focus on what’s in season and how to make the most of your garden! We aim to teach skills to make food that is both delicious and nourishing for your body. Each class provides samples and recipes to take home!
Note: our policy is to cancel if three people or less are signed up for the class. If you plan to pay in person, let us know you are coming by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org!
Tuesday, August 13th, 5:30-7:00 - Salsa: learn the basics to making your own salsa. Make enough in this class to take home and enjoy! Tickets here!
Thursday, September 19th, 5:30-7:00 - Flavor-Packed Salads: side dish no more! Learn in this class how to make a salad that is filling and delicious to take over the main course. We’ll be making a few different dressings that you can take home and try yourself! Tickets here!
Tuesday, October 8th, 5:30-7:00 - Quick-pickling: quick-pickled cabbage, cucumbers, onions, boiled eggs and more! Pickles bring any dish from ordinary to gourmet. Learn to make pickles in a pinch that can spice up your plate. Tickets here!
Monday, November 4th, 5:30-7:00 - Winter Food: get your holiday inspiration here! With the changing seasons, we’ll show you how to marry comfort food with nutritional and seasonal eating. Tickets here!
