Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for residents of a community to have direct access to fresh, high quality produce grown and cared for by local farmers. As a member of a CSA, you invest in a ‘share’ of the farm receiving a bag of produce each week as part of your investment in Urban Roots. As a CSA member, one shares in the risks and benefits of the growing season as drought, frost, or abundant sunshine may cause variability in how much produce is harvested.
